Crate Push

Sokoban: push crates onto the marks, never pull. Twelve hand-built levels, full undo, and a warning when you have pushed a crate somewhere it can never leave.

Sliding Puzzle

Tower of Hanoi

Move the stack one disc at a time, never a larger disc onto a smaller one. Three to eight discs, with the theoretical minimum shown.

What this site is, and what it deliberately is not

Ten puzzles, eight guides, and no attempt to keep you here longer than you wanted to stay. There is no daily streak to protect, no account to create, no notification, and no puzzle that asks you to wait until tomorrow. When you close the tab the puzzle is over, and the only thing left behind is your best time in your own browser.

All of it is hand-written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no build step, no engine. Each puzzle page downloads one script, its own, which is why pages open in a fraction of a second even on an old phone. Where a puzzle needs randomness, it comes from the browser's cryptographic random source with biased values discarded, and where a puzzle needs to be fair, the generator proves it: the Sudoku dealer only removes a digit if exactly one solution remains, and the sliding puzzle shuffles from the solved state so the board you get can always be finished.

We do not claim that any of this makes you smarter. There is a large industry built on that promise and we are not part of it. These are good puzzles, they are pleasant to think about, and that is the whole pitch. Any time or difficulty rating quoted on the site came out of sessions we solved ourselves, and is labelled an estimate wherever it appears.
